NFL Week 5 Pick ‘Em

PATRIOTS @ BUCCANEERS

I like the Bucs a lot on their home field with Doug Martin coming back, however, I can’t see the defending Super Bowl champions losing two games in a row.

  • Patriots

JETS @ BROWNS

The New York Jets aren’t tanking? Maybe? They are 2-2 entering week 5 playing a rattled Browns team who is yet to win a game. The Jets will come out on top this week in the Dawg Pound.

  • Jets

PANTHERS@LIONS

The Panthers have a lot going on with Cam Newton and his receivers’ health. The Lions have been playing good football with the roster they have. I believe the Lions will come out on top at home vs the Panthers.

  • Lions

49ERS@COLTS

Real barn burner here in Indianapolis this week with both teams trying to prepare for the future. With no timetable for Andrew Luck to return, the Colts are not thinking about a Super Bowl at the moment. The Colts have the better all around roster and they will come out on top in this battle.

  • Colts

TITANS@DOLPHINS

Titans were shaken last week when Marcus Mariota went down with an injury. While on the other side, the Dolphins have been struggling to perform. Back from London, the Dolphins want to make a statement on their home field however, the Titans were just embarrassed by a rookie QB and are looking to bounce back.

  • Titans

BILLS@BENGALS

The Bills are coming into this week hot sitting at 3-1 defeating the Falcons last week. The Bengals have finally found the connection in the passing game that was missing the first two weeks of the season and have been playing better. The Bengals will take this game at home vs the Bills because the Bengals passing game will be too much for the Bills to handle.

  • Bengals

CHARGERS@GIANTS

Who wants to win first? The battle of the 0-4 teams kicks off this week at MetLife Stadium. The Giants are definitely a better team than their record shows, however, I think the young pass rush of the Chargers will break the struggling offensive line of the Giants.

  • Chargers

JAGUARS@STEELERS

Big Ben at home? Finally? The Steelers are at home vs. the Jaguars who are looking for a bounce back week after falling to the Jets. However, the Steelers are known for their home game performances and Le’veon Bell is coming off a week where he had finally found his game. You can’t go against the Steelers at home here.

  • Steelers

CARDINALS@EAGLES

The Eagles have surprised everyone right out of the gate this year and do not appear to be slowing down. With a top TE in the game with Zach Ertz and solid receivers they have a good passing game. After David Johnson got hurt in week 1, the Cardinals still can not figure out a run game however their passing game has improved. I believe this will be a close game but the Eagles will come out on top.

  • Eagles

SEAHAWKS@RAMS

The Seahawks have not impressed me yet this season. With an overall team which is overrated whether it is their pass rush or their offense, nothing looks spectacular.  The Rams have been playing well and Todd Gurley has found his game again. At home the Rams will beat their division rival.

  • Rams

RAVENS@RAIDERS

Derek Carr got injured last week and is expected to be out for the next 2-6 weeks. Carr was nothing special the past two weeks and neither have the Raiders as a whole. Without Carr I believe the Raiders will not be able to function as fluently this week.

  • Ravens

PACKERS@COWBOYS

Rematch from last years crazy playoff game. The Packers have arguably the best QB in the game with a pass game that scares everybody. The Cowboys are home and want to show the Pack that last year was a fluke. Prescott playing his best football ever and Zeke returning to reality last week I think the Cowboys will win a hard fought battle this Sunday.

  • Cowboys

CHIEFS@TEXANS

The Chiefs are undefeated coming to play the Texans who just blew out the Titans. The Chiefs have a better team on the field and will take down the Texans.

  • Chiefs

(Mon.) VIKINGS@BEARS

The Vikings have had problems keeping their QB’s healthy and now their top RB went down with a season ending injury. The Bears are starting Mitch Trubisky this week and will spark the locker room at home in Chicago.
