NHL Picks of The Night 10/10/17

With plenty of games and action tonight across the NHL there are three that catch my eye…

  1. Blue Jackets @ Hurricanes

  • The Blue Jackets are 1-1 entering tonight’s action in Carolina. Everyone is on board and giving praise for the home team in this one however, the Blue Jackets are getting dogged on the road tonight. The Blue Jackets put in five goals their first game but only one in their second. They are a team that has the ability to burry a ton of goals every night. Watch out to see how Scott Darling can handle the highly powerful Blue Jackets offense.

Pittsburgh Penguins v Columbus Blue Jackets - Game Three

Blue Jackets 4-2

  1. Blackhawks @ Canadiens

  • Chicago at Montreal tonight has all signs pointing towards the Canadiens with Chicago having a back to back skid. Do not doubt the Blackhawks tonight as they want to bounce back from last night’s performance where they jumped to an early lead and fell apart, falling to the young gun Maple Leafs squad. Jan Rutta is a player to keep your eyes on tonight as he continues to impress the coaching staff leading in plus-minus.

Detroit Red Wings v Chicago Blackhawks

Blackhawks 3-2

  1. Senators @ Canucks

  • The 0-0-2 Senators are going into Vancouver to face the Canucks tonight. The Canucks have a very mixed group with veteran players in the Sedin twins and Loui Eriksson, and down the lines there is young talent in Bo Horvat and Brock Boeser. On the other side, the Senators have a talented squad but haven’t finished their previous games out. Bobby Ryan, Mike Hoffman and the other top forwards up front need to have a big night in order for success. The Senators will go into Vancouver tonight and finish tonight’s game out.

Senators 4-1
