This game pretty much started and ended with the control belonging to the Vegas Golden Knights. They were winning the possession battle led by newcomers Alex Tuch and Vadim Shipachyov who each had a CF% above 60%. This team has won games when they win the possession battle, and against a weak looking Boston team, this was evident from the start.

If not for Malcolm Subban, who played a fantastic game not given up the goal at the end of the game to ruin the shutout, this would have been the best TPR by the Knights all season. I was unsure about how the Knights would play with Fleury on IR, and the addition of the new kids, but this team looked fast and strong. If they stick with the duo of Ship and Tuch and maybe add Leipsic to that line, it could be a deadly line, maybe not this year, but the following for sure. This team is not good by any means, but if their young guys say anything, it could be a solid team in as little as 2 years down the line. Overall a good 3-1 win for the Knights and a nice record of 4-1-0.
