With the Cardinals, Giants, Jaguars, Packers, Rams, and Titans all on a bye, many fantasy teams are going to have holes they need to fill on their roster. Below, five players that can fill these holes are listed
Dion Lewis(Owned in 42.9% of ESPN leagues)
Currently, Lewis is leading all Patriots RBs with 11.3 touches per game. Factor in his monster 5.84 yards per carry and favorable matchup against a weak chargers defense, making him poised to have a breakout game this week
Tyler Kroft(Owned in 31.5% of ESPN leagues)
With Tyler Eifert being out for the season, Kroft is beginning to emerge as a solid target. Last week Kroft caught a touchdown and its expected he catches another one this week, as he will receive a lot of work in Eifert’s favorite place, the RedZone.
DeAndre Washington(Owned in 28.1% of ESPN leagues)
Last week, after Lynch got tossed from the game, Washington received 9 carries. Most importantly, he received a carry and got a touchdown in the RedZone. This should instill enough confidence in fantasy owners to start Washington in place of the suspended Marshawn Lynch.
Josh Doctson(Owned in 20.9% of ESPN leagues)
After a season-high 5 catches last week, Doctson figures to have even more this week since, the Redskins are trying to get him more involved. Docton can be a good fill-in this week for a receiver currently on a bye.
Bennie Fowler III(Owned in 11.3% of ESPN leagues)
Making his second appearance on the list is Bennie Fowler. Last week, Fowler led his team in total routes run with the absence of Emmanuel Sanders. This week, against a Chiefs defense that has allowed the second most points to receivers this year, Fowler will most likely receive a similar workload. Fowler will most likely have a solid week and it also appears he will be a solid fantasy contributor for the rest of the season.
