NHL: Flyers Fall in OT to Penguins; Murray Leaves Game with Injury, 11/28

The Philadelphia Flyers paid a visit to the division-rival Pittsburgh Penguins Monday night in hopes to break their seven game losing streak. That hope would be crushed by a massive breakdown in the third period which saw Pittsburgh score twice in 39 seconds to tie the game after being down 3-1 to start the period. After Matt Murray exited the game with an injury thanks to a collision with Jakub Voracek, Michael Raffl scored to give the Flyers a 4-3 lead. Jake Guentzel then scored his second of the night to tie it with just over a minute remaining in the game.

NHL PicksWho else but Sidney Crosby would go on to score the OT game-winning goal, his fourth in three games.

Travis Konecny, Brandon Manning, and Sean Couturier scored the other goals for the Flyers who have now dropped eight straight games (0-5-3 in that stretch). Philadelphia will be back in action Tuesday night at home against the San Jose Sharks.
