Fantasy Hockey: Players on the rise

Over the last 14 days(2 weeks) some players have slowly climbed their way up the ranks and onto some fantasy owners rosters. 14 days is a sizeable measure to determine a player worth I’d say and these players have shown some signs of serious worth, don’t skip on these players next time.

Josh Anderson: The upgrade of being slotted with Artem Panarin and Pierre Luc-Dubois, has played dividends into Anderson’s production. Over the last 14 days, Anderson has 3 goals, 3 assists, 2 game-winning goals and 28 shots on goal. Anderson plays top-six minutes and power play time and as of now, it seems this will be a regular occurrence for Anderson. I would definitely start taking Anderson seriously.

Radek Faksa: This one may seem indifferent but the Stars cannot actually believe that Seguin-Benn-Radulov are going to be scoring all goals and being the only ones on offense doing anything. Well, over the last 14 days Faksa has increased his production and has given the Stars some much needed secondary production. Faksa has 5 goals, 3 assists, and 23 shots on goal over the last 14 days. Don’t jump the gun on this guy but definitely, take his name into consideration.

Tom Wilson: After being slotted on the first line alongside Alexander Ovechkin, it has brought a new energy and dynamic to Wilson’s game. A player that is usually known to be one of the more “dirty” players in the league is now posting numbers he unseen. Wilson has scored 3 goals, 4 assists, 1 power play point and 11 shots on goal. Wilson now players top six minutes and power play time, he may not be there all season but right now it is worth jumping on him and riding the hot wave.

Kyle Connor: Ok, I said his name last week and now it is officially time to take this guy seriously. Connor and this Jets offense have been remarkable. The fact Connor plays alongside Scheifele and Wheeler should be enough to convince one of why he deserves to be added, but he also plays power play one too. Connor has 4 goals, 2 assists, 3 power play points and 18 shots on goal. Take this guy now, he is guaranteed all year for production.

Kevin Fiala: Fiala has to be someone you either added last week or about to add ASAP. Fiala has been on the rise for at least 3 weeks now and has officially emerged as a must add this week. Playing alongside Kyle Turris and Craig Smith on the first line now, Fiala has excelled immensely. Over the last 14 days, Fiala has 3 goals, 2 assists, 2 power play points and 42 shots on goal. He plays top-six minutes, power play time and is someone you should absolutely have on your roster right now.
