Boston Bruins vs Toronto Maple Leafs

The Leafs did what I personally thought was impossible and beat the Bruins in Boston to force game six. But it does seem like the road teams are knocking off teams at home, Pittsburgh, and Colorado Sunday night. The Leafs had success in game five due to a quick start they lead the 2-0 for the first and never lost the lead after that. On top of their quick start, they had their roles chipping in and some timely goals by some big name guys like JVR and Bozak. They happen to get outshot 45 to 21 but like we said Frederick Anderson was going to need to stand on his head for this game to be in Toronto’s favor, they also did take 6 penalties and killed off five of them Toronto. This game tonight is going to be tough, the Bruins already have the Lightning waiting for them in the next round and they want to get this series done with to rest for an early Stanley Cup matchup
(basically). The Leafs are not the better team here by any means and I think we can all expect the Bruins to come out flying from the start. The only games Toronto has won this series, Marchand, Bergeron or Pastrnak have not recorded a point. It seems as if Toronto can keep those three off the score sheet they can win. Game six, game seven on the line if they lose, I doubt we see all three off the scoresheet this game. Going Bruins tonight.

Washington Capitals vs Columbus Blue Jackets

The Capitals have won three straight and now look to make it four with a win tonight and the series on the line. John Tortorella came out after the game and said that he guarantees they will see Washington in game seven at Washington. Which means Columbus is going to win tonight to force a game seven. This series has really been one of the best of the first round, extremely evenly matched, offense and goaltending have pretty evenly matched. The story of the Capitals the last win was Braden Holtby made 39 of 42 shots and really since Holtby has been in net the Capitals have won three straight, besides game two but he played a little less than half of it. Either way, Holtby is posting a 1.66 GAA right now and has been the reason the Caps have been able to stay in this series. This is going to be a game 7 atmosphere of course with the series on the line for the Blue Jackets, would be very surprised to see this game be a walkover for the Caps. The Blue Jackets have been relentless and have not been out of it at any point. I am trusting Torts here and going Columbus here.
