Fleury, Price move up in NHL All-Time Goalies Win List
Carey Price earned his 300th win in 576th game started in his career. Price now has 300-211-66 in his career with a 2.48 goals against (GAA), .918 save percentage (SV%) and 41 shutouts. Thursday nights win for Price came against the Arizona Coyotes on the road. Price turned away 36 of 37 shots, getting his first win in five days. Price now has a 14-10-4 record, 2.84 GAA, .905 SV % with one shutout.
Marc-Andre Fleury moves to 9th all-time for wins among goalies. Fleury earned his 424th win vs the New York Islanders Thursday night. Fleury is now 13 wins behind Jacques Plante for 8th and 17 behind active New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist for 6th all time. Fleury turned away 19 of 21 shots vs the Islanders, making it his 424th of his career but his 20th of the year. Fleury is the first to 20 wins for this seasons, he now has a 20-10-2 record, 2.56 GAA, .907 SV % and five shutouts.
Hart stuns the Predators
Carter Hart the 20-year-old goaltender who was called up just three days ago started in his second career NHL game vs one of the best teams in the NHL and manages to pull out a big win for the Flyers on home ice Thursday night. Hart turned away 31 of 32 shots Thursday night, out performing last seasons Vezina winner and picking up his second career win in his second start. The second round pick in 2016 is seeming to be the savior in Philadelphia can Hart keep it up vs the Blue Jackets Saturday afternoon.
