Fantasy Hockey Impact Of Duchene, Coyle, Dzingel, Zuccarello Trades

These four big names can either help or hurt your current fantasy hockey roster. Duchene and Dzingel were sent to Columbus, Coyle to Boston and Zuccarello to Dallas for those that did not know.

Duchene and Dzingel in Columbus:

Duchene has been playing with Panarin and Atkinson on the first line this could hurt Atkinson and Panarin or help, right now through two games the three have combined for 2 goals, 3 assists. I think with Duchene on the first line it definitely reduces Atkinson and Panarin impact a little but not by much that you would need to worry. For Duchene, I would say monitor the situation, he is playing power play two, first line minutes for now but having Atkinson a goal-scorer and Panarin and a player-maker, if Duchene finds himself in front of the net he will find a lot of points.

Dzingel now could really hurt players like Josh Anderson and Nick Foligno. As projected Dzingel is playing with Pierre Luc-Dubois and Oliver Bjorkstrand. Anderson-Foligno-Jenner are now third line forwards for the Blue Jackets and their stock definitely drops a bit. Dzingel stock rises definitely as Luc-Dubois is having a great year as well as Dzingel is playing power play two minutes.

Coyle to Boston:

This one could help or hurt Coyle’s stock as he will be a third line center for now until David Pastrnak returns. I would say it makes sense to play Coyle on the right side with Krejci to start in Boston for him to acclimated and confident with his new team. Now, if Coyle does play third line minutes the rest of the season he is going to be playing with Danton Heinen (when Pasta returns) and David Backes therefore he is not even worth the look. BUT like I said watch the situation and see where Coyle is once Pastrnak gets back.

Zuccarello in Dallas:

The long-time and beloved Mats Zuccarello leaves the only team he has known for a much quitter setting in Dallas. But, Zuccarello will finally get to play with one of the top players in the NHL, Jamie Benn. Zuccarello being the player he is, a pass first, play-maker type of guy then I’d except Zuccarello’s stock to definitely increase playing with guys like Tyler Seguin, Alexander Radulov and Jamie Benn, Zuccarello may be in a different place but he will have an immediate impact.
